Wedding Advice from real brides

I've asked some of my past clients to give advice to anyone planning a wedding. Here's what I've gotten so far. I'm sure there will be more to come. Also feel free to comment this blog with any other advice or responses! :)

hi, this is kayla (mabe) vaughn. what I liked about my wedding was my pictures, my flowers from Bennett basket and bows, and also my cake from artist way. if i had to give anyone a piece of advice for there wedding I would say do it your way and don't let anyone tell you what you need. ...Good Luck to you and everything you do!

Hi Elly,

I would say that the best part about our wedding was the size, we chose to keep it simple and small inviting only those people closest to us. It made our wedding day extremely special because we knew we were surrounded by those that loved us most.
The one thing that I wish we could have changed was the music. We chose to use our computer since our wedding was so small and have our guests suggest songs for us to play. Unfortunately only one or two people responded and our music was all up to us. It would have been nice to have someone else pick the playlist, remembering those songs I forgot.

Thanks again!!!

Hi Elly,

Hands down, Elly's Photography was the best decision that we made about our wedding. It was so hard to choose engagement and bridal pics for the newspaper because the photos that she took were just that hard to choose from! One thing that I was scared about at the time of the wedding was how the pictures would turn out since it rained on our wedding day! Looking back, I am so thankful that it did rain because it made the photos look incredible! We did not have to worry about the sun in our eyes - it was just perfect! We caught Elly before she became well-known so of course we bought the coffee book album at a awesome price. By the way, when Elly has her sales - GET ON IT! I promise that you will not regret the money you spend with her. It is well worth every penny! Other vendors that we particularly enjoyed were Skinneydog Productions (Call Cooke's Land Surveying in Mount Airy - the man videographs on the side) and Jojo's Flower Shop. Thanks, Elly for capturing some very unforgettable memories!!
